Chem Processing, Inc. Company Overview
Chem Processing, Inc (CPI) was founded in 1970 to provide electroless nickel plating and dry film coating services to Illinois and Wisconsin aerospace manufacturers. As demand grew through the 1980's, CPI added cadmium plating, hard chrome plating, zinc plating, copper plating and silver plating. In the 1990's, aluminum anodizing was added. In 1995, the I-39/I-90 facility was constructed with advanced environmental protection technologies integrated into the design. In 2020, 35000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space was added. In 2021, a fully automatic anodizing line was constructed in the new addition. CPI continues to grow and invest in new technologies and services. Most recently (2023) we added vibratory deburring services.

A critical aspect of precision plating, coating and anodizing is masking for selective application of the finish. Because it requires a high degree of skill and technical ability, CPI has a team dedicated exclusively to this important facet of finishing.
Speed has become the most critical aspect of manufacturing today. Valuable time cannot be wasted in transportation, and CPI is geographically positioned for efficient shipping across the Midwest. We are approximately 60 minutes from the Chicago area but away from its traffic inefficiencies. Our facility is immediately adjacent to a major interstate highway. For national and international shipping, we are 10 minutes from one of the region's largest freight hub airports and 60 minutes from Chicago O-Hare airport. Directions to Chem Processing .
